Day Tours

Couple posing in front of a group of bears playing in the waterGoing bear viewing should be part of any Alaska adventure! As specialists in brown bear viewing and photography, we offer both day and multi-day guided bear viewing and wildlife photography tours to Katmai National Park, McNeil River Refuge and the Alaska Peninsula.

Day Tours depart from Homer for a one hour flight, taking you across the Cook Inlet then following the rugged and pristine coastline of the Alaska Peninsula to Katmai National Park where you will see more volcanoes and massive glaciers terminating in iceberg-filled lakes and of course bears!

It is reasonable to presume you may walk four to six miles during the trip depending on the season and level of bear activity. The terrain is generally not steep but we do walk on beaches, bear trails, tidal flats and cross some small creeks.
